Guitarist Slash, and Bill Gates during his keynote address at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas 2008
Gates delivered what is expected to be his last keynote for CES in Las Vegas this past Monday night.
He predicted computer users would soon throw out the keyboard and mouse in favour of interacting with the PC using hand gestures, and envisioned a world where computers were built into the furniture and far easier to use.
Mr. Bill touched on 3 major themes for the future of technology during his speech: the proliferation of high-definition video and displays, the increasing connectivity and networking of everything electronic and the ever-growing sophistication of natural user-computer interfaces. (has he been poking around at Apple again?)
