Reliable PC hardware for demanding applications
If
you've been to any of the best theme parks,
museums or landmarks on the planet then chances
are you've experienced an entertainment
simulator. SimEx is a leader in the development
of advanced 2D, 3D and 4D entertainment
simulation that project film or video while
being thrust about in a 6 to 50-seat theater.
These high impact attractions immerse audiences
into various unique experiences taking them on a
ride, in a copter, through the streets of NY,
embarking on a voyage to Mars or defying space
and time and visiting with the Dinosaurs.
For
over a decade Stealth's Model:SR4500 Rackmount
PC has been used to monitor complex control
functions that assist the ride operators with
safety warnings and ride statistics. This is
accomplished by running HMI
(Human-Machine-Interface) software to the heart
of the system a Bristol Babcock show controller.
Bristol's controller manages all I/O and
communications to the rides sub-systems, which
include motion control, projection, sound, gate
control and safety features. Through this
partnership millions of people have enjoyed a
thrilling, memorable and safe experience.
In 1984, SimEx created the world's first
simulation attraction; Tour of the
Universe(tm) located at the base of the worlds
tallest freestanding structure, the CN Tower in
Toronto. Today SimEx enjoys an impressive client
base with more than 250 attractions worldwide.
